According to a worldwide survey by the American College of Sports Medicine, the top fitness trend for 2015 doesn’t require a gym membership, intimidating equipment or an animated Zumba instructor. In fact the number one fitness trend for 2015 is body weight training and requires only—as you already guessed—your body!
Body weight training uses little to no equipment, making it more affordable, and often times more convenient since you don’t even need to leave your home for an effective body weight workout. Pushups, squats and lunges are just a few of the moves you can do using your own body weight as a form of strength training.
