A Scent by Issey Miyake EDT Review

When Issey Miyake released this fragrance in 2009, it fast became the most sought after fragrance of the year. It still remains a favorite amongst those who love pleasant scents. I picked up this last year and have been enjoying this scent as a daily wear fragrance. A Scent by Issey Miyake is inspired from air, the fresh mountain air that is simple and beautiful. For those who are green lovers, this fragrance is perfect as it stays close to nature.

As Issey Miyake is known to introduce element based fragrances, this light and pleasing fragrance brings an optimistic feel as well. With notes of hyacinth, verbena, jasmine, and crystal moss, this fragrance is subtle, clean, and is a minimalistic scent.

The beautiful symphony of notes makes you fall in love with the fragrance, and reminds one of cool breeze, summer evenings, and floaty fabrics. Although it’s inspired from air, the fragrance stays on for about 12 hours, and is alluring and attractive.

The bottle itself remains close to the theme of the scent, and stays true to its minimalistic feel. It’s a simple transparent block with graphic lettering and a spray nozzle.

A Scent by Issey Miyake is available as 100 and 150 ml EDT for $115 and $89 respectively. A shower gel and body lotion is also available for the scent.
